Get involved with the Rotary Arts Awards

We're still in the early stages of planning this event. If you're interested in helping out we'd love to hear from you! Explore the various roles we're looking for, you are welcome to submit your interest in more than one area.

Please note that you must disclose any potential conflict of interests, such as any affiliation with a theatre company, theatre production or school. This is to ensure that the event remains fair and impartial.

Work the event

As we work on producing the Rotary Arts Awards, we're looking to gather interest in working the event from the community. We need people to help with pre-production and marketing, and we also need experienced people to work the event itself. All roles and positions will receive an honorarium for their time and effort.

Be a Presenter

We're going to need several volunteers from the community to be presenters during the event. As a presenter, you'll be introducing the nominees for a category, as well as the winner of the category. You will also present the award to the winner.

Apply to be a Judge

Judges will be required to attend all local theatre performances - tickets to attend will be provided at no cost to the judges. Judging categories and criteria will be provided to the judges, and they will decide who wins each community award.

The Bursary Committee

The primary purpose of the Rotary Arts Awards is to award high school students with bursaries to support their development in the arts. The committee will be responsible for selecting the recipients of the bursaries, and will be made up of volunteers from the community.
